My very first time to compete at the Connemara Pony Show in Clifden and I exceeded any expectations I had beyond all measure. To win a class in Clifden is a huge achievement but then to go on and be awarded the Reserve Supreme Ridden Pony was mind blowing. Camille was superb and floated across the arena making my life very easy. I was very taken back and delighted to receive a round of applause from the crowd after my individual show. It was lovely to have Danny there to see me off for the parade. I want to say sincere thanks to Shauna for all her training, support and help and to Sarah and Caoimhe for all the cheers from the side lines. Last but not least to Aaron Greenan Photography who ran, raced, pulled, dragged, photographed and generally ran himself ragged over the most fabulous 48 hours. We even managed to fit in a trip to Omey Beach a perfect way to blow off the cobwebs on Friday morning.
